Review: “Is This The Moment?” By Bash Ft. Aysia

Bash’s “is this the moment,” is a poem that expresses the poets emotions over the predicaments that have befallen his country– terrorism, Chibok girls, corruption etc.– but also expressed hope that Nigeria will overcome and survive the problems it is faced with since it has come thus far.

Bash reminds his listeners of Nigeria’s history, and also the dreams of the founding fathers which now has been replaced by the issues he talked about in the poem…
He wishes, that ethnicity and tribalism will stop causing division within the masses.
Instead, he seeks a nation where rule of law, peace and decorum will thrive.
