Rudolph Adidi

Rudolph ’Ruddapoet’ Adidi is a first born, a performance poet, writer and a graduate of Architecture from the University of Jos. Known for his red cap or as fondly called ‘The Red Cap Poet’, he has won multiple awards for his performances across the country.

Ruddapoet has some of his works published in some magazines and journals including Airmingle, wordup, ebartsng.orgafricanwriter.com. He is the founder of guts of gods, a platform that encourages young poets and a co-founder of JPS, Jos Poetry Slam (now known as Just create).

Born in the hills of Central Nigeria in Jos, Plateau State, He is known for his debut LP which dropped in 2017 titled ‘The Handwriting’ and a video series which followed a year after titled ‘Dear Jerome’ which talks about Man, Life, God and himself.

His most recent work in 2020 includes
– Super Muri Quod Rimas
– The Gathering EP which features Lardo and Younglan
– Dear God

Ruddapoet whose countenance innate strictness is actually shy and sometimes an introvert to his words. He is scared of cockroaches and he resides in Jos.
