Forgive me, but i don’t believe you.
All the lies, and all the hope i had.
My strength and time,
My heart and brain.

I only won’t believe all the lies.

Before me and my brothers, you coloured your lies.
Pitting us against us, only to uplift you.
Three years gone with you out of sight, now you’re back for me.
Babies have died, i dropped out of school, and i was all you had.
I was following my heart, now with me is my brain.
Paint all you want, I’m not buying this time.

So many months passed, now i value my time.
To put it into something more productive than lies.
Now i know the best investment is on the brain.
Fathers have cried because of you.
The hope on you and yours was all we had.
Whatever happens at the capital today, it’s not for me.
