A world without mirrors

Who needs mirrors on their walls to see their flaws
They carry deceptions that stab with blunt claws
Things you’re forced to adjust
Glassy frame that’s unjust
It won’t heal your dark soul, or the pain that gnaws

Look through the waters, reflections are enough
Do not look where your images are a bluff
You’re not made perfect
It’s a way we deflect
Looking to mirrors to make our shoulders puff
