A world without mirrors

Emmanuel Hudson’s nose needs to see itself,
it is big and round like an African elf
swallowing all the air
leaving people to stare.
a man would not make a mirror for himself

If not, his smile would be a flamboyant mark,
a fish would decide whether to be a shark
or Tench, or a Tuna
with a sharp antenna.
a world without mirrors is light in the dark.
