Petty people

a ring made by fire can be round the nose,
petty people play part in pricking the rose
they claim to be the light
and never see the night.
if words miss their lips, something will decompose.

a star by the moon doesn’t make it a friend
petty people pay prices per friends they end.
they’re in a gathering
like drums or violin,
don’t ever let their words make your pure mind bend.
