As Life Lives

Life presented it self even before I wanted it.
I wish I knew that it was shorter than eternity ,
Running faster than my shadow ,
Making plans for me even before I open my eyes,
Calling me names before I knew myself.
I wish I was given the choice to chose ,
The breath to breathe ,
The eyes before the sight ,
The voice to speak for my true self.
Life began and then life happened.
