Molded By The Creator?
Lake
Tiny droplets that increase when we wake
Finely built wraps of rain
That gather, they do not stream, they stretch and drain.
Inside this fluid are bigger and tinier beasts and mammals
A vibrant ecosystem, a colony
Ready to take over, ready to drown in their water,
Ready to die for want of life and livelihood.
For those who think you a sea
Will never know an ocean
You will not flow like rivers
Your wings will never sea.
Buried in this basin
You will not give, you will be fed and drained
By rivers and streams
And to other extremes.
You will be real, made by beauty and light.
You will be unreal, put there by the hand of man
You will therefore show the power of light
You will settle, build your settlement
You will be still, still water that lives.
You will become a pool.
You will pull
