The Dove that dove into the bushes.

Raven, Rock, Robin and Lark
long sat on a weary branch.
Lark took off and Raven stayed
And so did Robin and Rock.
Raven left and Rock remained
And Robin was next in line
But Rock was the first to fly.

Some birds are bigger than some
In the dance of fight or flight.
The dove that dove to safety,
dove into the arms of night.
The dove that dove completely,
dove and went off out of sight.
Small birds are bigger than some.

Robin remained, so did i
To see what would be of it.
It flapped and glided and stared,
I flapped and glided and cared.
I stretched my hands out of care,
She stretched her wings out of fear
And into the bush she swam.
