Our Twist of Fate

When we first came out to life
We had straight feelings like a
well paved boulevard, happy
Or sad, nothing more or less
We laugh loud, smile hard sometimes
Cry out loud when hunger raids
With an unreasonable gang.

Life has twisted our minds, fates
And left us to deal with the
broken pieces broken from
us when we knew nothing of
how the world systems where formed.
Twisted minds with twisted fates
Left to build a twisted world.

If we all have our beliefs
And we all believe in them
As different as they come
Like unexpressed colours of
a crayon box, and we want
Ours regarded as the pick
While putting all others out.

The world wouldn’t work smoothly
If we tend to put others
out like fire from a match stick
To be heard, you have to hear
To be listened to, listen
Be like the rainbow and sky
People can shine together.

When people throw stones at you
Be on your own business
And walk on broken bottles
If you have to without shoes.
Bend with the rules, bend a knee
A good head is better than
an entire buried body.
