Review: “Ode to Fathers” by Rudolph Ruddapoet
Rudolph’s “ode to fathers” is a long but interesting poem. Unlike most ode’s that are concerned with praises to commendable deeds and achievements , this one takes a twist and addresses the issue of failed fatherhood.
Rudolph pinpoints the expected accompanied by the unbelievable. He goes further and makes it clear that it isn’t just only about biological fathers misleading their son but leaders, teachers and preachers.
The end of the poems tells of a father who knows what love is and tells his son to tell his son to avoid being crocodiles with complicated hearts.
The accompanying music suited the piece and if I must say; it is a poem I will share to a friend to share to another.
