Words to the clergyman
Do Not Mislead
Do not mislead my daughters and my sons.
Just as you have misled my soul
To an everlasting turmoil and doom.
All of this while, you only lied,
Telling wrong tales of heaven and of hell.
Leading astray the sheep you lead.
With the full knowledge that you do not know
The things that you have claimed to know.
And now I am here to see for myself.
The tales you tell the pews are false.
And the fear you have planted in their hearts,
Of judgement and deep fiery lakes,
Were all but secrets hidden by mere men.
Now I am here— another realm—
Far from you and all that has been your truth.
So as you stand on the pulpit,
Make sure to tell the truth, the whole truth
And nothing but the truth in whole.
Tell them that the world has only one God;
And that he has no religion.
