A beautiful piece of God’s creation; Miidong Daloeng
A graduate of Library and Information Science who completed her compulsory service to the nation at Taraba State, last year, Miidong is inspired by many things including an aggressive fart, a sneeze, and mostly pain.
Born preoccupied, she buys only things she needs and not those she wants. A reader, a rare speaker and a thinker, she reads almost everything, and as far as I know; none has ever been a waste of time. Apart from Indian, Philippine and war films, she is a freak for every other kind, especially those with animations you all call cartoons
As tall as an Iroko tree, my home girl can either be the life of the party or the beautiful shy girl from the cold hills and mountains in the chocolate city of J-Town. Miidong acts accordingly. She only engages in mature and enlightening conversations. She is barely caught having small talks- the reason she has few friends, and just made her best friend last year.
The ability of people from different parts of Nigeria to be united by the same goal – to write – is one thing she admires about EB (She’s the adopted daughter of Leonell).
Being a library addict, she has a reading group, and the only challenge she encounters to write poems is that ‘poem types and forms’ are limiting to her.
Far over 2 decades of breath, love is a religion and a language she has a fair idea of. At the end of everything, she just wants to be FREE, HAPPY, & BE MIIDONG
Merci
