Two Humans

An empty library is never empty
She throws a party for dust and rodents
So is the mind of the lone man.

Like two sides make a fine coin
Two cannot be unless they be one
So it was when life begun
One was carved out of the dust
The other carefully from the loins.

As running water is coloured by every passing picture
The mind of man should be more conservative
As one speaks, both should be listening
For thoughts are not for the market basket
To serve those with mindful minds,
Thoughts find their way to the market square.

So it was at the first light
Where life was formed, and the sun was born
One thing we must do, write
Our history, dipped in a little now, and later
Of how one cannot be
Unless they be two or even more.

Subscription to the wrong math
One plus one, one is what they birth
Though as unique as our prints are
Golfing without a par
Win and lose both look same

This is an unfair game
Right is maimed
While wrong is hailed
The head is never nailed
Two embryos, one seed

Drive but watch your speed
To go fast, go alone
But, with two, that’s how a tag team is won
Two, yet a desert
Two, in this arithmetic knows desert
The market basket may conceive plenty
But it would only amount to one basket
One would help you to your feet
But it takes more to help you to your casket
This is the maths where two is the new one.
