Too Soft, the Wool is a Tougher Brick
A swimming cat is no catfish.
And to die was no dead man’s wish.
So why put yourself through trouble?
The wool is stronger than red brick,
Look at walls; listen to clocks tick.
The hard brick can’t break a bubble.
But the soft wool can sink a ship
Without raising it’s finger tip.
Too soft the wool with hearts; double.
A heart of brick can crack and break,
But that of wool will thrive awake,
Absorbing every bit of heat.
The brick knows not who’s an elder
The wool does not mind one’s gender.
Not minding who provides the meat.
Sometimes the wool gets tired of soft.
And can no longer stay aloft.
That moment it loses it’s seat.
