Too Soft, the Wool is a Tougher Brick

Real men don’t cry, the record says
Cry me a pool or the pain stays
Gather round this fire let’s tell tales
About some men and their soft side
Gentle eyes behind a tough hide
Things fishes hide beneath their scales
A bear hug that cannot harm you
Fragile rosee from thorny few
That’s how a passionate soul sails.

Beneath all that muscle and rough
Is a tear trying to be tough?
Out here they want the world to see
How Rocky and steep their heart feels
Even when their reeling minds knows thrills
Like sharks swimming in a vast see
Their defenses will kick in
Showing how their patience wears thin
Pretending to be hard is key.
