Too Soft, the Wool is a Tougher Brick

Wear smiles on your face, and heart too,
There’s only one life and not two,
It’s sometimes okay to be rude.
Words from people you know on earth,
Shouldn’t be a reason for your death,
Wash your conscience clean, leave it nude,
Noone is perfect, step on toes,
Lose many, win more useful foes;
Be that unique different dude.

There’s little time to be spent here
Before deeds will go with you there
On a trip to place called heaven.
That’s the story we all were told,
And that’s the one we all should hold.
In every odd lies an even,
Sometimes, we close our eyes to see,
Imprison our minds to be free;
An intellectual leaven
