Barricades and Fences

To stand against a thing
You must stand erect.
Neighbours are for maintaining
Thus, block on black, walls we erect.
Neighbours breathe better when their fences stand tall
For, differences won’t have holes, through which, to crawl.
Fences stand where malice and grudges fall,
Neighbours breathe better when their fences stand tall.
A fence is like a sieve,
Designed deliberately for relief
Keeping out the unwanted that could creep
Wise ones will agree “grow a fence so peace to keep”
A fence is, certainly, a sieve.
Let the cock-a-doodle-doo of your cook stay at home;
Assuredly, my dog and your bitch won’t hump;
Our good mornings will taste like creamed coffee.
Fences stand where grudges and malice fall.
