Before It’s April Again

Fools
April!
Before me,
Time becomes fate.
Weaker feet of March
Piercing through mother’s womb.
I was the daughter of Earth,
I was this close to giving birth.
It happened before time said ‘if May’.
Before the rains chose April and fell down.
Every story began to dawn like dew,
revealing resolutions report,
poor minds to pour weaker progress.
Dreams began to wear seatbelts,
The sun wears its sunshades
while rain finds blanket.
Humans rush home
To find love,
To grow
Rich
