Before It’s April Again

Just
Before
We shut our
Eyes to welcome
The cool autumn breeze.
Just before we dream of
Love songs and holding of hands;
There is a cloud that gathers peace,
Far beyond the springs and flowing streams,
Just before Cinderella lost her shoe.
The dance we will forever remember,
Dreams of pumpkins and carriages too.
Before we lose ourselves to love,
Longing for eternity,
Counting blooming petals.
We wait for april
Like a fool’s game,
Till luck shines
On the
Moon.
