Before It’s April Again

One
By one,
We prepare
For the rainfall.
For spring will soon come.
And make our thatched roofs leak.
So we clear our farmlands now,
And change our dried thatch with new ones.
We can see the clouds coming again,
And the forest birds ready to migrate.
Let the rain come now, we’re ready for it.
We’ve listened; the forecast for April.
And it will come with so much flood.
Therefore we’ve reinforced our dam,
And cleared all water ways,
Of dirt and hard waste.
April Showers
Will drop soon,
With them;
Flood!
