Before It’s April Again

Gone.
Back soon,
I hope to
Be ready for
All that you would bring.
Flowers have missed you too,
The bees are rarely around
Home is where the heart chooses to be,
It’s mostly cold and wet since you left
Today, I’ll stay between walls to stay warm.
The sun has taken a vacation to
intensify his heat, and courage.
It is true we live to fight, but
Today we’d try to survive
Become stronger, and wait.
Bees don’t contend with
the rain. We won’t.
We’d only
Fight to
Live.
