Water Won’t Quench This Thirst

On the pathway to success,
hurdles like its olympics.
Many men are on track,
some with cold fire,
others are just moving.
Hot ice drops on the paths,
yet, we strike stones for comfort.
Deaf men are complaining of much noise,
lame men are running from wild creature,
with many distractions here,
success still remains the goal.
No water can quench this fire,
this fire has no flames,
it is a fire with passion,
a fire with desire,
a fire thirsty for quenching,
not by water,
rather by owning wads of Benjamin Franklin.
