In The Middle Of A Dream

In the middle of a dream came another dream,
Of roses and a promise
That would only be kept if I open my mind,
And burn into ashes my pride.
This time it was not just about me,
It was about skies , suns and stars.

I decided to reach first for the stars ,
Hoping to life I could bring this dream
It was the first that ever came to Me.
I believed it was the fulfilment of an old Promise ,
That cleared the land of pride
Which was devouring my mind.

And Just before I could loose my mind
I let go of the Stars.
It had nothing to do with Pride,
I realised that I wanted to be more than a Dream
Sustained and adored with one reckless Promise.
In the middle of a dream , reality woke me.
