Reply to Robert Frost’s ‘The Road Not Taken’
you too
two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
and truth be told,
to take either, i could,
not caring how they rolled;
to the second fold i went,
quite as wide as the other,
irregular as it bent
in length and time spent,
the dew my feet couldn’t smother.
the same as stood before me
now stood behind, see.
that a day may come
and i may say
i’ll never take that way again
if two roads diverge
and you have to choose,
there may not be another day
as there might another way, and you,
you will will towards.
