this one thing will be funny always
that like a dog, I keep throwing up,

saying things that hurt me,
once I swear I’ll never do again

I keep running back to

like a junkie without a penny.
don’t fix me, I’ll miss you

give me a little of you every now and then
it’s not my wholeness I seek,

It’s the droplets, the conviction
that without you I am nothing

the chaos that comes after running
after you till we are both tired of running.

being a lover is a disease only heartbreak cures.
