Petty people

a peeved rabbit once said to a flustered hare,
look closely, we differ, in colour, in hair.
and although some may claim
that we do look the same,
it’s a footling. and nobody will care here.

the same will go for people who amplify,
oversell, shoot a line and I don’t know why
they’ll make a small deal big,
make maze out of a zig,
and a good chance to be a fool may apply.
