A Ghazal among many

When words die

after the sun reigns and dies, light must boycott work
each time you say a word, it dies, it does not work

blank sheets and empty ink vessels cannot hold thoughts
these tongue only knows how to lash and allot work

when words fail to do the justice they should have done
chaos, conflicts erupt and peace becomes hot work

this silence they say kills, has killed me many times
and if I must confess, it is not a jot work

it ruins, it destabilizes, it infuriates
it bins effort, it makes us to truly knot work.
