How to be better

whenever a writer asks me
to tell how they can be better,
I ask if they are willing
to sacrifice time because
to avoid circumlocution,
one has to be concupiscent,
avoid being the cynosure,
avoid being grandiloquent,
and indubitably be nonchalant,
don’t push to be an osculator,
it’s fine to write jargons,
nobody is the best, only better.
as long as you are ready to read,
as long as you are ready to learn,
you are on the right path to writing.
