As teens
We all are pregnant with ideas
Pregnant with music
Religion and not faith
Pregnant with drinks and drugs
Pregnant with ambition
And all that you may bring into fruition
And the ones you know to reject
But when a boy
Who cannot afford to buy a mattress
Tells you he loves you
Tell him to go love himself first
Because love is not a feeling
Love is a responsibility
And love cannot put milk in the mouth of a baby
It will remain on the shelves of supermarkets
