Bigotry walks in

Every time we raise swords,
we cut part of our humanity.
Believing in one’s belief should
not be a reason to live in doom.

If this is how it will always be,
why not question the questions
and question the answers?

why is skin colour a threat?
How does one submit himself
to a cause, to pray for the end
of another tribe or religion?

we dirty the land and water
deprive nature of its beauty,
deprive ourselves of harmony;
do we deserve mother earth?
