i won’t say you gave everything
but you gave your all.
if wings were
given to things
that do not fly
they’d die.
that’s why
youth is taken
away from the old.
you, my friend
have died
not because your wings
couldn’t lift you
you have stayed Young
for too long
that even in death
you’ve forgotten to age
