Poems about anger

“the belief in a supreme being somewhere is good, i promise. not the conversations of the believers.”-Leonell Echa

praise songs begin to grow–
first into chants, then into groans.
there is a place to house
all of your sorrows,
a route to point your anger
towards;
back to your god
and his mouthpieces.
But No!
it is against your neighbor
you construct a Suez Canal,
to defend what yourself can’t
and will never understand—
the Shepard doesn’t guard the sheep
from the wolves for nothing,
Can you see his pot of soup?
