if you tell a man to prepare
you must be willing to tell why,
why a man should listen
and believe with doubts,
where a man should see
and turn a blind eye,
how a man should walk
to complement the talk
where a man should dream,
what a man should believe.
you do not tell a child
to be strong for the world
without giving the child
the courage to stand,
without gifting the child
an experienced helping hand,
will you stone a bird
and not expect it to fly?
how do you walk late at night
and not expect the moon to peep?
