Poems about fear

“I’ve thought about the possibility of losing my mind. But then, I just figured it won’t be bad to get a new one”. – Leonell

inside the outside of this world
lives a life that hovers
in the wind,
we feel it looking at us
enjoying the blissful breeze,
the moon and its mother,
the unforgiving pleasures of serenity.
when others go to find it,
others call it death
when others go to find it,
others say it’s insanity.
will you build a house
and not live inside?
will you carve out a window
and stop the wind from passing through?
hold the ground by its welcome,
bury the ashes of all shadows,
a mind needs a penny
a thought needs its dime
give yourself a check, get your mind a room.
