Second chance

Today came and it is the first
never you doubt your thirst
heed thy words, use right clauses
tomorrow will still thrust, tomorrow will thrust.

If one was enough, there would be no two
yes there will be more mourn days and tease days
of it all there will be fathers and sons
there will be oceans and rivers and streams
there will be plastic and metal
of more flowers there will be trees
of it all, there will be bicycles and cars
airplanes and ships
there will be grandmothers and granddaughters
there will be flesh and bones.
does history have a glitch somewhere
or why is the future a make up for the past?
second chance will cover these blemishes
it’s why we have even more lives than deaths
as there are more wombs than tombs.
