Second chance
We are born
As an arm to forewarn
That a day is destined to come
And over us, others will mourn
Came with a faint smile and waving hands
To be counted amongst the chosen ones
Men of doom, men of evil and men of truth
To lie, laugh, love, lose, learn, leap and look
To name our shame a lame type of fame
To sow and watch it grow until it ‘blows’ and shows
Some are vertically gifted and others are challenged
If the clay in heaven is of different colours, what does it mean?
Should I continue to believe or do I need to know?
All we do is roam in search of a home
Until we die and tomorrow never comes
And we get a second chance to live
In minds as memories that we left.
Born, live, die and leave. Rinse, repeat!
We are born
As an arm to forewarn
That a day is destined to come
And over us, others will mourn
