I am one of the clowns
From the clan of humans-
Sometimes I am the one
With attached strings
Judging others for
How right I’m mostly wrong,
Living two lies,
One as I breathe
And the other in imaginations.
Sometimes I am the one
Not loyal to myself
Always waiting for the dawn
To hide behind distractions
And to claim that ‘all is well,’
While time continues
To live on the other side
That is not mine.
Life says tomorrow will be better,
Today is the tomorrow of yesterday,
Tomorrow is tomorrow for today,
and tomorrow never ends.
