I am a bat
I paddle in many moods
Like a three-legged blind dog
I aim to succeed
Each time I swing,
It’s a cheer or drear.

I am a bat
Hanging upside down
Waiting for the night
So I can see the world.
Hanging upside down
Is how I ward off unwanted auras

I am a bat
Not like Batman
I bat my lashes at injustice
I bath my eyes when I am sad
I battle many faces
I bath in loneliness.
