Vintage Feelings

I worried
For many nights
How people would know
That my yellow dresses
Were more than a few
And I grew up
I worried
That my girls would grow up
And be art inflicted
With no money to spend
On the tomorrow’s of life
Become lawyers and doctors
As I’m scared of the unkindness
Of humans
Watch you starve
I may as well stop
The present may not answer to the past
