My Kind of Freedom

Time, my dear friend
That belongs to all and none
To wait isn’t an option
Ticking is all it does
Telling stories and listening

People love to wait for later
Procrastination is the enemy
Pulled me down when I should be up
Posed as a cure but was fuel to the fire
Presented an option of perfect doom

I spoke
I listened and I learnt
I failed, I saw why and I changed
I’m early, timely, better and happy
