When i become a country

Victor
India
New Delhi, the mother of all spice
Lion and lead has something in common
Like 1947’s love for India
Britain wasn’t pleased for one second
That within me was the fire of Olympia
Fierce like the bear in Siberia
And as alluring as Chandragupta
Faithful to the core like Ram Nath
He was the last of his kind
Sturdy as an elephant’s right foot
With babies booming like a well fed mango tree
