Working on the world

By dressing fine, living life, smelling nice,
Sympathy and empathy where it’s due,
Being the arm to be stretched, being peace,
Forgive cause past should die, there’s more to do,
Ditch a frown, wear a smile; I do the two,
Borrow a leaf from the gift of the sun,
Showing others the way, being the one,
I do not know of any other thing
Worthy to do working on the world than
To see the change. I must be the change done.
