I never imagined I would believe
In love at first sight among other things
But here I am, slowly coming out of a limbo
Having sleepless nights, and daydreams
Of everything from your touch to the joy I feel
Counting stars, and rainbow chasing
It did feel like a missing part of me was restored
A plane crash set in motion, averted
A dry spell, broken
A fountain flowing in the Sahara.

So, I’m thankful for memories;
We would dance under the moonlight
Burn midnight candles, and
Exchange love notes
Yours, crested deep into my heart
Mine would flow on every sheet I find
I would make sure to remember you on happy days
And hope to have you standing strong by my side
On days when thunder storms, and rage takes over.
