The Neighbourhood lad.

There was one little black boy named Saul,
Who wanted to be a soldier when he was small.
But his mom said to him in fun,
“You’d be a soldier, my dear Son
Only when you become tall”

Saul pondered as he sat on a wall
How can I become tall, he asked Paul
He quickly climbed a hill before dawn
He yelled “Mom can I be a soldier from now on?”
But up the hill did he fall.
