STEEL (STILL) STATUE

World wars began when greed placed foot
Inside the hearts of peaceful men
Laying on their beds with food
Dining with God and Popes
Kings and princes too.
Hate hung their hearts with ropes,
Arranged by family feud.
Rain turns to colour red again
Death is a normal clothe to now put.

Every man wants to be remembered,
But some decide to kill instead
Others chose to start world wars,
I have chosen to build
Still silver statues
to always keep men thrilled,
Bending their knees to the floors,
Praying to study the things I said,
Never to become dis-remembered.
