STEEL (STILL) STATUE

Wilderness is all there is right now.
I have chosen to build for myself
Livelihood beneath the sands.
During cold and winter
Knowledge will bring warmth
Hands will carve a splinter
And steel will sharpen the hands.
Read between the lines, clean the shelf.
Dance with my still statue and then bow.

After you bow, be sure to drop gold,
Be sure to drop silver and bronze,
It will be melted in fire
And used to build strong steel
statues for myself.
In front of them men will kneel
And women will sing like a choir,
Others will sacrifice their sons
and find salvation in place of gold.

LARDO.
