I Found Where God Is Hiding
I’ve searched through plain fields and watched the sun rise at the break of dawn, I waited patiently for a miracle, a wonder that many men spoke about. I sought to know why the stars twinkle, why streams flow and lakes remain fresh in a single place. My heart boiled over with questions like an examination, ready to set any with answers.
I’ve danced on the mountain top, spread my arms and move like the green leaves in deep forests. On my body are traces from the paths I’ve walked, searching for what everyone else seems to own. I’ve clapped and sang at the top of my voice in open squares with those that seem like they own the keys to heaven’s gate. My time on earth has been a short one so far, but my walk has been innumerable like the sand by the seaside. My search for God has been endless, not unnecessary and I’ve found him right where I am.
