Dear Reader

Dear listeners and readers!
My words; covered in blanket of smoke,
Sometimes to please and to tease,
Like a Cleric, I also don’t do all I write,
I love to scribble what I feel is right.
Emotional poems rings me the best,
False, I make mistakes like the rest,
Like I hear ‘I help others reach their goals’,
But do you bother if I’m happy at all?
I do even sound Solomon the wise,
Here’s a trunk-
Come swim my mind to see foolishness rise.
Sometimes you feel I’m talking to you,
Me sef they feel that way once in a while too.
Sometimes, you read my lungs – a chimney,
Wrong, I praise, don’t smoke the ganja.
Whatever you heard about me is true,
Everything you also heard is untrue.
Teach your fears, hopes, and dreams,
To know nothing is beautiful as it seems.
‘There’s a healthy not wealthy hungry man there,
There’s a wealthy not healthy man out there too,
The former will one day eat, the latter will one day be strong,
No matter how wide depression spread her arms to hug,
Las las, one day one day, we go dey alright’.
…. remember, the only perfect man is by name ‘Nobody’.
