Dear Reader

I have written
Many letters that later I wished were unwritten.
I have bitten
Off the pages of fools whose follies made good meaning
And of the foolishness of the wise whose wisdom were dirty linings.
And to all of these you have agreed
You have read and you still agree to read.
To those tracks you find along my road
Tread as wild as you please.
But travel as light if you’re with load
Perhaps understanding as speed would increase

The letters we do not exchange
Get trapped in the mail.
Those that we exchange, we exchange and
In communication we fail
But I understand,
Some words have to be deeper
As such you’d have to dig
If understanding has to be richer
Maybe we’d make the alphabets big

We write as if we care,
But oftentimes we don’t.
There are writers everywhere
Without the readers we want.
The choice is the reader’s to ask
Is there a bigger meaning behind the mask.
